Pre-show walks are the best! It has been a busy season in my life and it can sometimes be easy to be so focused on the next task/activity/event that I fail to get outside. Getting outdoors and moving is absolutely one of the most fruitful and rewarding things I can do each day.

Thank you all for your support! 🤟🏻
Solitude at NAMM (@TheNAMMshow)?! Well, with 62,000+ show attendees, including 10,000+ international attendees from 125 countries, regions and territories it can be a challenge to find peace AND quiet. However, as seen in the photo above, the result is definitely worth the journey.
The networking and entertainment found at NAMM is obviously just a few key reasons to attend and participate. And finding moments to clear your mind, process the day, and prepare for tomorrow are critical to making the most of each day at the conference.
What is a place you have searched to find and enjoyed both the journey and destination? 🤟🏻
Finishing my class work earlier in the year was definitely a blessing and choosing to walk at graduation, even though everyone was older than me, was also a great experience. Thank you to the teachers, counselors, tutors, mentors, and my family for your tireless support in helping me to accomplish this goal years early.
We celebrate the wins here - it was a good time! And we are already focused and intentionally working towards what lies ahead. We’re gonna keep on rockin’! 🤟🏻
I recently was notified that I have been selected as a winner of Week 6 in the 2023 Hit Like A Girl contest!
This is my second year entering the international contest and the second year I have been honored as a Finalist.
Hit Like A Girl 2023 is the twelfth annual international contest for female drummers. This year there were 1,200 entries from 60+ countries. The purpose of this international contest is to showcase and encourage drumming and lifelong musicianship among participants of all ages from all over the world. A big thank you to Hit Like A Girl (@hitlikeagirlcontest) and Hudson Music (@hudsonmusicofficial) for sponsoring the weekly contest.
Thank you for your support! 🤟🏻
Starting out, the idea of playing for big crowds was the only thing I could imagine. The energy, the camaraderie, the music, and the shared experience is so very enticing! I mean this photo is of Alice and Sheryl Cooper getting on stage to dance during our final song and then Alice directing us in the big ending - a moment I'll remember for a long time. However, after doing several outdoor gigs in the cold and in the heat one year, there were some opportunities to get in the studio. Lately, I have been truly enjoying the studio session AND the live gigs. My time playing live with other musicians has proven crucial in shaping my adaptability, perseverance, and personality behind the kit. And playing for producers in a studio session has sharpened my ear and opened my creativity. One thing is for sure - drums are loud and they are life changing. Whatever comes in this journey is going to be rockin' - and I am grateful to be here for it all! 🤟🏻
Playing well known and long living classic rock songs are always a great shot of energy for the day - it does the mind and body good! So I started recording it and putting up drum covers with music on my Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts.
Welcome to the Jungle doesn’t take one around the kit as much as other exciting drum songs but it still holds the drummer to account. Play this song well and the music changes people.
I use drumless tracks to play the drums to classic songs, so the only audio drums heard are recorded by me. I hope you enjoy!
Check out my live music performance at Coopstock 2 of the Stevie Wonder classics, “I Wish” and “Superstition”. This does not show our full set played but we are thankful to be able to share the video of these two full songs. Please watch it all the through - you don't want to miss the various solos and big endings!
Coopstock 2 was a great time and raised money for a great cause! We were honored to perform at the same show as Alice Cooper, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Larry The Cable Guy, Mike Mills of R.E.M., Ed Roland of Collective Soul, Scott Stapp of Creed, Patrick Warburton, Yohan Kim and more!
